Get to know one of our newer members, Heather Baker. Read her brief bio on her photographic journey below...

I'm not one for writing personal bios, so I'll keep this brief.  I don't have a photographic vision per se - I take pictures solely for the joy of it.  It relaxes me, provides an escape from the stresses of work (I'm an attorney, for those who don't know) and from my daily life, and allows me to be creative in a way I can't be in my job.  Although new to Churchville Photography Club, I've been a member of Focal Planes Foto Club for about eight years, and have served on its board in varying capacities over the past four years.

I have a Canon 5D Mark II, but currently shoot primarily with my cell phone (Samsung Galaxy S6) in large part due to the ability to edit on the go (I'm months - or more - behind on editing camera shots).  I can find inspiration in just about anything, but my focus of late has been on abandoned structures and the items left behind within them.  All images below were taken with the Galaxy S6, and most were edited using Snapseed.  More of my work can be viewed on my Instagram account @trixieplum.
