As with all Journeys, there is a Beginning.

My photography journey began with admiration of other people's work, such as National Geographic and my mother's beautiful photos.  Then the true leap into the photographic world began when my mother gave me an Olympus OM1 35mm film camera with four (4) different lenses.  I loved it and hated it.  When I realized the camera and I didn't 'see' the same, then frustration set in, and the camera was set down.

Hello00 to the digital point and shoot camera!  Fast forward thirty (30) years later, many different cameras, many phones, etc.  I want more than easy & simple.  So for my 51st birthday, I was given the best present ever, a Canon EOS Rebel T6 with an 18-55mm and 75-300mm lens, tripod, backpack and I was inspired and elated.

Now I am always out taking photos and using Snapseed and Toolwiz to edit.  It's still frustrating...but in a good way. Patience is still not my virtue but I am learning more every time I shoot.  Patience and I may never see eye to eye.  We'll see...
