Welcome to 2026.  Happy New Year everyone!

We had a  great holiday social with over 100 images of the Club's history submitted.  If you missed the social and want to see the recording, email info@churchvillephoto.club to receive the zoom link and passcode.

We are excited for the winter/spring schedule!  In addition to several contests and critiques, we have scheduled engaging speaker presentations including Lori Lankford Impressionist techniques on January 5th; Murray Livingston Long Lens Landscape on March 16th at 6pm (please note the time, Murray is in the UK!); and 2026 Ray Schneider Intentional Composition through Photography on April 20th.     (See full list of scheduled meetings at https://churchvillephoto.club/club-schedules/ ).

As suggested at the planning meetings, our contests/critiques are going to follow the speaker's presentations, and if possible, the speaker will come back to be the judge or critique.  Matt Christopher will return to judge an abandoned/brownfields contest on Jan 19th, and Lori Lankford will do the same for impressionist techniques on Feb 16th.  We are also going to try a program that has been very popular at the Doylestown club where members submit images and someone else takes a shot at editing them on May 4th.

Sara Pinkus and Laura Brandt have volunteered to plan our annual scavenger hunt (date in Spring TBD) and the images will be revealed at the June15th meeting which will be held in person at the Nature Center plus on zoom.

The Steering Committee is working on filling  one other open meeting and is starting to plan for the annual online competition that's open to the public.  Stay tuned!

Note that all meetings for the remainder of the year are on Zoom with the exception of the June 15th meeting.  Any  exceptions will be noted on the meeting announcement.
