Winners of the Second Churchville Photography Club Digital Competition were announced June 2nd 2025 via a zoom meeting moderated by Marty Golin, Vice President of CPC. This is a successor to the Club's open print competition which ran for 28 years and co-chaired by Scott Petersen with various other Club members. Entries opened April 1st and closed April 30th 2025. We had 58 photographers submitting 366 entries. There were 64 entries in Human-made (Architecture), 43 in Flora, 85 in Landscape/Seascape, 53 in Open, 57 in People and 64 in Wildlife/Animals.

Entries were evaluated separately by our judges with each image given scores ranging from 1 to 10. The judges were Lori Lankford, Paul Grecian and Ron Tarver.

 

The highest scoring first place image received the Best of Show award, which went to Penguin Shower by  Jacqueline  Burke  of Perkiomenville PA.  Congratulations to all!
