If you're ever in Ottsville, PA and want to photograph something special, stop by the Parkside Orchid Nursery on Mountainview Drive. A few CPC members made a day trip out of it and weren't disappointed.
Parkside has five nurseries, each with its own temperature and humidity level dependent upon the type of orchid being grown. Color and form are plentiful and when you consider how difficult it can be to grow these exotic plants, no less get them to bloom, it's a trip well worth taking.
