My interest in photography started when I was around 12 yrs. old. I was always wandering around in the woods and taking long walks in local parks. Experiencing nature through the seasons has fascinated me. Watching the earth come to life in the Spring, the bounty and warmth of the Summer, the beautiful display of color in the Fall and magical images of frost and snow in the Winter have left me in awe of this wonderful world. Being in the garden with my father planting flowers and vegetables was a joy for me and not a chore. I admired the intricate patterns of the petals and leaves as I watched them grow. All of this I wanted to capture on film and share with others. I was given a "GAF" instant camera (many yrs. ago) and a camera has been by my side ever since.

I was born in Toronto, Canada and my parents moved to Phila. when I was one year old. I have three beautiful children and one "adorable" grandson. I was lucky to have parents who traveled, therefore, at a young age I was able to appreciate and explore other countries and cultures. I’m always searching to find a new and different place to photograph.

I joined the Pennypack Photo Club around 25 yrs. ago which introduced me to a group of very talented and friendly people. When the club folded, I joined the Churchville Photo Club, which I have been a member for over 10 years. The club has given me a wealth of knowledge and many friendships to cherish. The transition to the world of digital has been difficult for me but I am willing to learn and have friends in the club willing to teach me.
My goal is to write a book of poems along with my images. Hopefully I can share that with you some day in my cabin in the mountains.

Live your dreams!!
