Coordinator/Contact: We won't need to coordinate any food this year.
The doors to the Community Room at the Churchville Nature Center will open at 6:30 pm and all members are welcomed to attend in person if possible. Come early and help us set up!
Details: 7:00 PM - Due to lingering pandemic concerns about sharing food we are asking for only desserts for this social. The club will provide some canned soda and bottled water for the evening. The club will purchase the pizza and hoagies. You can bring your own food or beverage, and if anyone feels like it, you can bring a dessert or snack to share.
NOTE the message below regarding our outstanding dues from our current members.
- Show & Tell: Instead of showing a YouTube program, I'd like to host another "Show & Tell" session while we enjoy our desserts. Please submit up to five (5) images to our club website, adhering to the following themes:
- Winter/Holiday: Capture the essence of the season.
- Your Favorite Images of 2023: Showcase your favorite photos from the year.
You can split your five (5) images between these two themes at your discretion. You can even submit all five (5) images into one theme if you prefer. Remember the "Fall Show & Tell" we had? This will be another low-pressure way for members to share their work. We can't wait to see your photos!
The Social aspect (eating and talking) will run from 6:30 pm to 8:00 pm at which time the digital projector and laptop will be set up to view images submitted by the membership. The image sharing will be shown also on ZOOM.
UPLOAD: We encourage all members to upload up to five (5) images to the CPC website uploader between now and Saturday, December 16th at 5 pm. This would give our ZOOM facilitators (Dianne and Marty) time to sort them out and present them during the hybrid portion of our Monday meeting at 8:00pm.
Sign in under the Member Log In. Upload and when done Please sign out. If you have trouble uploading, the image may be over 2MB in size. Resize by using your quality slider and save again. Call Janet or Dianne if you have any issues.
Be prepared to talk about them briefly as they appear on the screen. Please be concise; don’t ramble and please don’t be offended if we cut you short. At the start of the program we will announce how much time everyone has to discuss and / or describe their favorite images of the year.
Please name each image as follows: First name followed by last name initial followed by the image number (01 through 05 if you are submitting five). This naming convention assures all of your images will be grouped together properly and not scattered in the presentation
Example: RickK 01, RickK 02, etc .
Sizing images is not critical for this upload but try to keep to the club upload standard of 1200 px vertical and 1600px horizontal, save as a JPG/JPEG image.
*DUES: Remember that this is the the last meeting of the 2023 year. They should have been paid by now. In January, we will purge the Master Membership List and delete those members who have not paid to date. You will no longer receive email notices from the club.
If you are attending in person, please bring a check for $35 for an individual membership and $55 for a household membership (defined as those that live under one roof). Make the check payable to “Churchville Photography Club”. Please pay our Treasurer, Elaine Barkan and notify her of any address, email or phone number changes at this time.

Prospective members may attend up to two club meetings for free before they must pay yearly dues. We always hope that they enjoy the club enough to formally join.
