David has always been intrigued by the interplay of light, shadows, color and form. This interest ultimately led him to ICM (intentional camera movement) photography. His photography career started in New England in the 1990's. At that time he was focused on region-themed black and white images for which he received many regional awards.
After moving into ICM photography, David refined a little used studio technique that involves colored wires, plant parts, paper tissue, plastic bags, and similar subject matter to produce a variety of unusual abstract images. In the past year his ICM photography has received a number of awards and recognitions in the United States and Europe.
