Our judge is Rick Wright...we like him!  Rick does a wonderful job in combining judging duties with constructive, insightful advice. That’s not easy to do. Please start thinking about your entries for this contest.  We will also have an Open category along with the themed category for this contest.  See the details below.  Don't forget to provide a SHORT description after the naming (below).  This will help us identify what it is we're seeing.

UPLOAD DEADLINE: Saturday, 5PM June 3rd.  Use the uploader on the website.  Click on Member Log In (not the drop down).  It will pull up the page requesting that you provide your UN and PW.  If you don't remember your UN, contact Dianne Rose. She can give this information to you.   If you don't remember your PW, you can enter your UN and request to change your PW.  (Be creative; we have had our problems in the past with 'simple' passwords.)

IMAGES: Members may submit up to  four (4) images) in this contest.  Choose 2 max in any one category.  (Two (2) in the theme category and two (2) in Open).
NAMING: The category is used first.  Then we are using first names, your last name initial, then show the number of the image (01, 02)  and briefly describe what we are seeing (ie, dog running etc).   Example: THEME DianneR01 (description) save as a .jpeg or  OPEN DianneR01 (description).  Save your images in the JPEG (or JPG) format.

SIZE:  Horizontal/wide 1600 px OR for a vertical/tall (or your 'square-ish image) use 1200 px.  TIP: Make sure that the total image size is not over 2MP. The uploader may have difficulty with larger images and will probably fail.  If this occurs, resize your image by taking your original image, resize it to the proper pixel (height OR width), and watch the size (make sure it's under 2M).  If it is not, change the quality slider by moving the slider to the left one notch.  Check the size again.  Once you get below 2M save it in your folder.  You will be able to Upload the image.
FORMAT: Jpg/Jpeg

If you have any problems, contact Dianne Rose or Janet Hickey (preferably via phone based on how quickly you need help)!
