“A snapshot says: this was here. A photograph says: this was worth stopping for.”

Learn to make the photograph — not just take it. This two-session program, live via Zoom, is built around critiques and edits of your own images. Submit a RAW file and an edited version ahead of time, and we'll work through them together.

These sessions are meant to be educational and collegial — an open, relaxed discussion among everyone, not a critique under the gun. Come ready to learn, share, and have fun with it.

THE TWO SESSIONS

 

Session One — Monday, October 5, 2026, 7:00 PM

A live critique discussion — the same decisions a judge is weighing when a score moves from a 10–12 toward a 13–15: finding the real subject, composing with intention, controlling light and tone, and finishing the file properly. We’ll work through the ideas together and build a shared critique vocabulary the club can keep using. (Zoom room opens around 6:30 for chat; program starts at 7:00.)

Session Two — Monday, December 7, 2026, 7:00 PM

We continue in the same spirit — working through club members’ submitted images together, image by image, with everyone contributing to the conversation.
