The Steering Committee is proud to announce that Third Digital Competition was a great success

  • We had 45 photographers from 8 states submitting 269 entries. There were 39 entries in Human-made Structures, 32 in Flora, 67 in Landscape/Seascape, 51 in Open, 43 in People and 38 in Animals.

All entries will be shown and winners announced  on June 1, 2026 in a zoom meeting starting at 7PM.  Winning images can be seen at https://churchvillephoto.club/category/club-contests/

The results of the May Scavenger Hunt in Newtown will be shown on a zoom only meeting June 15th.

Late afternoon of June 22nd our annual picnic will be held at the Nature Center starting around 4:30.  Everyone is encouraged to bring their cameras and explore the Nature Center's grounds and lakeshore then meet back at the Center for socializing and food.  Also if you have some prints to share, bring them along.  Rick is going to bring two of our print racks for a display.  Please RSVP so we can plan for the food.  As usual the Club will provide the burgers and hot dogs. Please respond to info@churchvillephoto.club with your RSVP, the number of people coming, and what you are bringing to share (appetizer, finger food, dessert, or drink).  We will also be talking about programming plans for the 2026/2027 year so please bring any ideas and comments on what you liked (or didnt like) about this year!
