I subscribe to the online (free) photography magazine articles on "how-to"...

This article is from DP Magazine and gives excellent advise on outdoor/indoor photography during the winter season, including mastering your white balance, shooting lights at night, use of flash indoors to get the right coloring, and many tips to help you learn.

Everyone should read it.  If you're not new to photography, you just may pick up a tip that you can use.  It's a must read for beginners and amateurs.  Setting your camera on auto or program is not the way you learn how your camera works.  Learn about how your camera sees light and how you can control your camera output.
